Well it is getting closer to our planting season and we still have to work out where our small garden will be placed this year as well as what actual crops are going to be planted.
The compost is coming along fine, but seems to have an abundance of twigs. This must have been from some ficus clippings that I asked the landscaper to leave next to the tumbler. I was going to strip the leaves from the branches and add them, but instead, thinking he was assisting me, the gardener filled up the tumbler with ficus clippings (branches and all). I have already removed some and will have to get rid of more as this continues, however we are on our 14th week of composting and i still see a lot of leaves and vegetation which has yet to decompose. I will try to get some pictures posted in the next few days. I have a whole bunch taken when we started in mid-June, but just have not had time to setup the blog and begin writing. I still have to add a theme to this thing.
